Terms of Service
These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the DUPAS website and related services ("the Service") provided by Dunamis Sports Corporation ("the Company"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and members.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between the Company and members in connection with the use of the Service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means all services provided to users through the DUPAS website and its connected app, including sign-up, My Page, and tournament registration and information.
- "Member" means a person who has agreed to these Terms and entered into a service agreement with the Company, and has been assigned a username.
- "Username" means a combination of letters and numbers set by a member and approved by the Company for the purpose of identifying the member and using the Service.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)
The Company posts these Terms on the Service's initial screen or a linked screen so that members may easily be aware of them. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by relevant laws. Where the Terms are amended, the Company will state the effective date and reason for the amendment and announce it, together with the current Terms, on the Service's initial screen from 7 days before the effective date until the day before it.
Article 4 (Sign-Up)
A user applies for membership by completing the sign-up form set by the Company and indicating agreement to these Terms. The Company may withhold approval of, or subsequently terminate, an application in any of the following cases.
- Where the applicant has previously lost membership status under these Terms
- Where the applicant does not use their real name or uses another person's name
- Where false information is provided, or required information is not provided
Article 5 (Withdrawal and Loss of Membership)
A member may request to terminate the service agreement (withdraw) at any time through My Page or the customer center, and the Company will process such requests promptly in accordance with relevant laws. Where a member violates these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service, the Company may restrict or suspend that member's status.
Article 6 (Notices to Members)
Where the Company gives notice to a member, it may do so using the email address or phone number the member provided at sign-up.
Article 7 (Provision and Change of Service)
The Company provides services such as sign-up, My Page, and tournament information and registration. The Company may change all or part of the Service according to the Service's content or operational or technical needs, and will give prior notice of the reason and content of such changes.
Article 8 (Suspension of Service)
The Company may temporarily suspend the Service in the event of maintenance, replacement, or failure of computer or other information and communication equipment, or a communication outage. In such cases, the Company will give prior notice, or subsequent notice where unavoidable.
Article 9 (Member Obligations)
Members must not engage in any of the following.
- Registering false information when applying for or changing information
- Using another person's information without authorization
- Modifying information posted by the Company without authorization, or posting or transmitting unlawful or improper information through the Service
- Infringing the copyright or other intellectual property rights of the Company or any third party
- Interfering with the Company's operation of the Service
Article 10 (Ownership of Copyright and Restrictions on Use)
Copyright and other intellectual property rights in works created by the Company in connection with the Service belong to the Company. Members may not use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes, by reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcast, or otherwise, or allow a third party to do so, without the Company's prior consent.
Article 11 (Disclaimer)
The Company is exempt from responsibility for providing the Service where it is unable to do so due to a natural disaster or equivalent force majeure event. The Company is not responsible for any disruption to a member's use of the Service caused by the member's own fault.
Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)
Disputes between the Company and a member are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any related litigation will be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
